Hello! I took a break from coding to watch some more wrestling...and got carried away, oops. I started working on it again today, so thankfully, I have some more updates. I made a page dedicated to resources I used while making this website, which will be useful in the future. Additionally, I figured out how to make a custom cursor and decided to use Sparx! I also added a sparkle trail to it, that needs to be replaced with a yellow sparkle trail (or maybe not, I'm not sure). I also worked on a small gidget of some sorts for the main page! It'll act like a navigation bar, with each heading linking to a different page. I really want to use a lot of Spyro-themed elements so it can feel like a fun experience to navigate through! I still need to do some tweaks with it, but I'm pretty proud with it! I also have to work on some of the assets for it as well, which shouldn't be too hard. I'm still thinking about what other pages to add, and I'm still considering making an alternate theme for this website that's wrestling themed. I might also consider replacing the update icons with some panels from the Spyro manga, or the Japanese manual guide.

Last night I was able to draw a small doodle of Ratchet from Ratchet & Clank; it was a very nice, chill experience, but I accidentally started to shade and "render" his head... so I ended up shading the body too. Somehow, it blew up overnight which was really cool, but also slightly scary. I just wasn't expecting it. For today, I cleaned up the marquee a bit, and updated the icons for the blog. I also made a page for the resources I'm using on this website, and I've been filling it out with what I can remember. I'm still not sure what I want to do with the theme of this website, because I'm still debating on what Spyro level to use. I think a dark level like Spooky Swamp would be nice, but the Reignited trilogy doesn't use a lot of the purples the original game had. I also need to sort out the 88x31s and add them to the Resource page; thinking of replacing some as well. I don't want to use DeviantArt stamps on my website at all, but a lot of the games I like only have those stamps (which sucks a lot). I could maybe make my own little Spyro blinkies and 88x31s, but for now, I might have to consider making another box for those stamps. Might remove the music player too.

Made sure to fill in yesterday's update because I forgot, whoops. I'm thinking of adding little icons next to the updates instead of this...box area. I think it would look a little nicer? As for new pages, I need to make an Error page for unfinished sections and make new pages for other areas. I think it would be awesome to have a page section just for important tools for extracting things from the Spyro games, like the extraction tool for models/animations, the world viewer, etc. Thinking of also putting a little guide to how to navigate the world viewer because I really haven't seen any for it, and I always forget the controls. Another page idea I had was maybe an art section for more...18+ content, but I'm still debating about it. Maybe put it behind a password wall so I don't have to worry about anyone just having straight access to it. I don't have that many big ideas for this blog, other than a cool summer project to get my hands moving.

Reworked the website a little and changed the theming of it to better suit me. I think the original format was okay, but it was very tacky with the basic theme over it so I wanted to rework it. Additionally, I really love how newgrounds looks with it's constantly changing site skin, so I wanted an element of that as well. Got some more 88x31s to add to the list which makes me happy; now all I really have to do is sort it out in an aesthetically pleasing way; same thing to the blinkies. I also want to find more Playsttaion themed blinkies and 88x31s, but I might have to resort to making my own, or using stamps. I also want to update the soundtrack for this website, as it no longer fits the idea I have. Debating if I want it to be the Reignited trilogy's idle track, or the regular songs from the set. I'm still thinking about it; maybe I'll decide in the future. I cleaned up some code and adjusted some things; I like the starting page a lot. I just know that I will have to adjust it a lot for when I transfer it over to Neocities. I think that's really all I can talk about; I don't know what to do for pages.

Development has begun on working with this website, which is great! I already had some knowledge of HTML, so it was refreshing to go through the motions and take notes this time. I started on the "bones" of the website yesterday, and threw on some basic polish today while working on it. It's very barebones and all the pages aren't done, but this was a nice exercise. My head hurts though, haha. I ended up having a lot of notes and referencing other websites to see where I went wrong with the code. It helps to look at other pages on Neocities; a lot of creativity from around the world, and I hope to get up there at some point. I have no idea what I want the final layout of this website to be, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. (Probably tomorrow...?)
